Tailscale is seeking a Head of Communications to lead and scale our global communications function, shaping how the market understands us, elevating media visibility, and building the engine to support our growth.

Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you’ll own product and corporate communications, media strategy, internal comms, crisis comms, executive communications, and international programs, starting hands-on while building a small team and partnering with leaders across the business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in public relations, product or corporate communications.
• Proven earned media coverage and journalist relationships.
• Ability to translate technical products into clear stories.
• Experience leading, hiring, and developing communications teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global communications strategy to strengthen brand leadership.
