Job summary

Albedo is seeking a versatile communications and marketing generalist to build the function from the ground up. As the first dedicated hire, you’ll own social media, press, content, events, and partnerships, collaborating with founders and teams across Engineering, BD, and Government Relations to translate milestones into compelling storytelling.

You’ll develop Albedo’s external presence, create high-quality written content, and direct visual assets to position the company as a category leader

Qualifications

• 8+ years in marketing, communications, or related field; space/defense experience preferred.
• Proven writing across social content, press materials, and exec communications.
• Established press relationships and ability to be primary media contact.

Responsibilities

• Lead social media presence and strategy, press, conferences, speaking opportunities.
• Develop and own content strategy and editorial calendar; write content.
• Prepare executives for media appearances and manage reputation.
• Translate milestones into announcements with cross-functional teams across engineering, BD, and government relations.
• Create visual and video assets; translate tech into compelling narratives.
• Plan and execute presence at industry events, sponsorships, booths, side events, and engagements.
• Manage event program and develop ideas for memorable presence.
• Build network of outside creative partners and contractors.
