Singh Capital Partners seeks a strategic VP of Communications to lead external narrative across the firm, Singh PAC, and Singh Capital Philanthropies. You will shape messaging, media outreach, and executive communications to ensure a sharp, consistent voice across platforms.

The role requires 8+ years in communications, strong writing, and deep media relations. A JD, politics, or finance background is valued, with discretion in sensitive matters.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in communications, PR, or media strategy across finance, politics, or institutional environments
• Exceptional writing and storytelling; translate complex ideas into clear narratives
• Proven experience managing media relationships and drafting press materials
• Deep understanding of social media, digital strategy, and modern brand building

Role Description

We are looking for a strategic and seasoned VP of Communications to lead all communications efforts across Singh Capital Partners, Singh PAC, and Singh Capital Philanthropies. This role owns our external narrative — including media relations, press strategy, social media presence, LP communications, brand positioning, and crisis communications. You will work directly with firm leadership to ensure our voice is sharp, consistent, and impactful across every platform and audience.

• Own and execute the firm’s communications strategy across all platforms and entities
• Manage all media relations, press inquiries, and journalist relationships
• Draft press releases, op-eds, statements, talking points, and executive communications
• Lead social media strategy and content across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms
• Develop and maintain LP communications including newsletters, updates, and event messaging
• Support Singh PAC communications, political messaging, and public affairs strategy
• Manage brand positioning and ensure narrative consistency across Singh Capital Partners, Singh PAC, and Singh Capital Philanthropies
• Advise firm leadership on communications strategy, media opportunities, and reputational matters
• Coordinate crisis communications and manage sensitive public-facing situations with discretion
• Build and manage relationships with media, political, and institutional contacts

Qualifications

Required

• 8 years of experience in communications, public relations, or media strategy spanning finance, political, or institutional environments
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills; able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives for any audience
• Proven experience managing media relationships, drafting press materials, and navigating high-profile communications with discretion
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, digital strategy, and modern brand building
• Professional demeanor with strong judgment and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or a related field

Preferred

• Political communications experience, particularly in PAC, campaign, or government environments
• Experience supporting executives within investment firms, private equity, venture capital, or financial services
• Existing media and political relationships in the DC metro market

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000 – $180,000
