The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Director of Collections Strategy and Discovery to lead the Library’s collections, acquisitions, and discovery initiatives. You will oversee RAM and RDM, build a new collections analysis unit, and drive data-informed strategies to optimize budgets, licensing, and access for a world-class research library.

Qualifications

• Master's in library science or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership in academic libraries.

Responsabilités

• Lead collection strategies from selection to discovery and the supporting infrastructure.
• Oversee acquisitions, licensing, and description workflows and budgets.
• Develop and manage a new collections analysis unit.
• Mentor staff and foster professional growth.
