Overview

Canvy Hedge Fund is seeking an elite Head of Capital Markets to lead our institutional capital engagement, multi-strategy expansion, and signal-driven capital deployment into the Space, Defense & Security verticals.

This senior partner-level hire will oversee LP development, capital structuring, and global deal syndication - executing intelligent market positions informed by proprietary geopolitical and behavioral intelligence by Canvy Venture Labs portfolio company BLACKPAGE.

This role offers privileged access to government-adjacent capital networks and direct connectivity with defense-aligned allocators and global family offices.

Canvy Hedge Fund is the tactical capital division of Canvy & Canvy Ventures, operating at the intersection of liquid markets, sovereign macro trends, and classified intelligence signals. It functions alongside Canvy Private Equity & Canvy Venture Labs, to deploy capital across an integrated, multi-market architecture.

Canvy currently manages $119M in assets across its full-stack investment ecosystem- including Canvy Venture Labs, Canvy Private Equity, Canvy Capital Trust, and the Canvy Hedge Fund. This capital spans early-stage IP, strategic equity positions, liquid trading mandates, and long-hold wealth preservation strategies—forming one of the most uniquely integrated investment structures in the market.

BLACKPAGE, our proprietary geopolitical intelligence platform, supplies the fund with real-time behavioral and sovereign capital signals. These intelligence inputs enable precision-timed capital movements across both public and private market events, often weeks ahead of traditional indicators.

Position

As Head of Capital Markets, you will architect Canvy Hedge Fund’s LP strategy, cross-border capital structuring, and institutional partner network. You’ll align fund strategies with defense-grade intelligence to support timely deployment across sectors including aerospace, cyber, commodities, and energy.

For candidates with real access to high-trust, defense-aligned capital - this is a fast-track gateway into black budget projects and sovereign-affiliated financial operations demanding immediate traction.

This role engages directly with capital allocators interested in advancing government-aligned innovation, with urgency and discretion at the core of our capital strategy.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and execute institutional LP development strategy across sovereign, family office, and UHNWI channels

• Structure capital products (SPVs, co-investments, liquid overlays) that align with macro signal inputs

• Translate BLACKPAGE intelligence into actionable capital theses and portfolio overlays

• Partner with executive leadership on fund strategy across volatility cycles, liquidity thresholds, and regulatory transitions

• Engage in capital briefings with global institutions, embassies, and sovereign allocators across priority regions

• Oversee capital operations including CRM, legal documentation, capital inflow tracking, and investor performance updates

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10–15+ years in hedge fund strategy, institutional capital markets, sovereign fund management, or asset syndication

• Proven track record in raising and deploying $100M+ in alternative or multi-market capital structures

• Experience building capital platforms tied to global macro, tactical alpha, or dual-use investment theses

• Deep familiarity with hedge fund structuring, family office syndication, and strategic capital flows

• Relationships in the D.C. corridor, GCC, APAC, or European private capital networks highly valued

• Capacity to operate at the intersection of finance, national interest, and geopolitical forecasting
