1kx is a global crypto investment firm that specializes in ecosystem growth. Our team comprises technical operators and strategic thinkers who work closely with our portfolio of 90+ companies, with the goal of being the most founder-friendly and helpful source of capital. We are a fully remote team with colleagues across North America, Europe, and Asia. This role reports directly to the General Partners and will work closely with the Investment Team.

We are looking for an exceptional relationship builder and capital markets leader to join the team as Head of Crypto Capital Markets. This role will be pivotal in orchestrating and executing our token launch activities for the firm and as a vector of support for our portfolio. The development and delivery of comprehensive market entry strategies, from uncovering liquidity opportunities to crafting compelling investment narratives and coordinating across relevant market participants, is central.

What you’ll do

• Market Maker Relations: Guide projects through the market maker landscape and help negotiate liquidity provision agreements to ensure healthy trading dynamics.
• Exchange Partnerships: Facilitate introductions to top-tier exchanges and guide negotiations for optimal listing terms and timing
• Service Provider Ecosystem: Connect projects with essential token launch partners, including marketing and communications expertise, institutional custodians, capital underwriters, and compliance specialists
• Roadshow Orchestration: Organize and execute comprehensive investor roadshows, connecting projects with institutional investors, VCs, and strategic partners
• Post-Launch Strategy: Guide projects through critical price discovery phases, monitoring market dynamics, and coordinating support initiatives
• Strategic Advisory: Provide ongoing guidance on tokenomics optimization, market timing, and capital structure decisions
