Job summary

You will supervise projects, manage budgets, establish standards, coordinate maintenance planning, and serve as liaison with campus units. This role requires leadership, adherence to civil service rules, and the ability to act in the director's absence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide assigned personnel including shop supervision, support staff, and student helpers.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate building maintenance projects across structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing domains.
• Maintain records and reports on maintenance activities and progress; prepare estimates.
• Establish standards and programs for maintenance, repairs, and renovations; investigate and report on plant operations.
• Provide leadership on budget execution, staffing, interviews, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Building Maintenance rules, Civil Service policies, and related regulations.
• Act as liaison to campus facilities and services; represent the director in their absence.
