Description

Amazon’s Cross Channel and Category Marketing Team (XCM) is seeking an experienced Social Marketing leader to lead content strategy and development across Amazon and Prime Brand paid social campaigns. This leader will set the strategy for how Amazon leverages social channels to deepen brand affinity and purchase intent across Amazon and Prime businesses, including establishing the vision and plan for how we adapt our processes to leverage AI and next-gen production models. The role involves planning, developing, and optimizing social media campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat to align with customer behavior and platform algorithms. The candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to create impactful, culturally aware, and innovative campaigns, focusing on short- and long-term brand and business results. This is an individual contributor role requiring collaboration and strategic influence without direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Set vision and develop annual social media strategies for Amazon and Prime brands, overseeing campaign execution across paid social channels.
  2. Stay updated on social media best practices and emerging trends to maintain industry leadership.
  3. Establish learning agendas, oversee social measurement, analyze campaign performance, and optimize strategies.
  4. Manage social agencies and internal creative teams to deliver high-quality content.
  5. Manage budgets efficiently, ensuring high creative standards and performance improvements.
  6. Identify new opportunities for commerce and brand engagement, especially among younger and diverse audiences.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic

  • 10+ years of professional marketing experience
  • Data-driven decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Experience managing cross-functional marketing programs

Preferred
