Overview:

Lead and expand a beauty and personal care product line, leveraging an existing iconic intellectual property and established retail partnerships with major mass-market retailers. This role involves end-to-end ownership—from concept and product development to market strategy and retail execution. The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial approach, a keen eye for emerging trends, and the ability to create a distinctive brand identity in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand Strategy & Positioning:
   Define and shape the brand’s unique market position, ensuring consistent storytelling, visual identity, and product integrity.
   Translate consumer insights and cultural trends into breakthrough product concepts that resonate with target audiences.
   Oversee R&D, packaging design, and supplier relationships to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and inclusive product formulations.
   Manage product lifecycle from idea generation to commercialization, ensuring timely and cost-effective launches across various categories—fragrance, skin care, hair care, and cosmetics.
2. Retail & Distribution Management:
   Deepen relationships with major retailers, negotiating premium shelf space and implementing strategic promotional programs.
   Identify new distribution channels and formats, including online platforms, global markets, and specialty retailers.
3. Marketing & Partnerships:
   Collaborate with internal marketing teams and influencers to develop innovative campaigns for social media and experiential events.
   Explore strategic partnerships, co-branded initiatives, and cross-promotions to broaden the brand’s reach and relevance.
   Own P&L responsibilities, ensuring profitable growth and adherence to budgetary goals.
   Drive operational efficiencies across the supply chain to maintain product quality, manage costs, and ensure timely fulfillment.
   Recruit, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
   Establish clear performance metrics and empower team members to deliver results.

Qualifications:

1. 7+ years in the beauty, personal care, or consumer goods industry, with experience in developing and launching successful product lines.
2. Background in working with recognized brands or IP-based products, translating brand identity into tangible goods.
3. Demonstrated success in mass-market retail distribution and product placement.
4. Strong grasp of industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging categories.
5. Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of adapting quickly and making data-driven decisions.
