Job summary

Riot Games is seeking an experienced Art Director to set the visual direction for a new title, translating creative ambition into a distinct, production-ready visual identity that enhances gameplay and character appeal.

You will partner with Creative Direction, Game Leadership, and external partners to ensure cohesive art direction, while mentoring teams and balancing artistic ambition with production constraints. A strong portfolio and leadership in shipped titles are essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in game development with 8+ years in art team leadership.
• Experience as an Art Director or key artistic decision maker on at least one shipped 3D game.
• Strong understanding of pipelines and production techniques for stylized visuals in games.

Responsibilities

• Steward the game’s visual identity from concept through production.
• Translate creative direction into clear visual standards and scalable art workflows.
• Drive visual quality and gameplay readability across all player-facing art.
• Mentor internal and external art teams and direct co-development partners.
• Collaborate with design, narrative, audio, engineering, product, and IP teams to support gameplay.
