Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior product leader to own the API and developer experience strategy. You will drive platform consolidation, set ownership boundaries, and lead a team of PMs to deliver a scalable API portfolio for regulated environments.

You will partner with engineering, risk/compliance, and architecture to ensure governance, reliability, and rapid adoption while leveraging AI-enabled tools to boost productivity and outcomes across the platform.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years in product management, including platform or API products at scale.
• Experience mentoring other Product Managers.
• Payments or regulated financial infrastructure background.
• Strong ability to evaluate API design and architecture with Engineering.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross-level communication.
• Data-driven decision making with bias to action; risk/compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define and own API and developer experience product vision and roadmap.
• Translate platform priorities into concrete API and integration plans.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle: discovery, roadmap, delivery, adoption, retirement.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Risk/Compliance teams for adoption and governance.
• Lead, coach, and grow Product Managers across platform sub-domains.
• Champion AI-enabled tools to accelerate delivery and improve decision-making.
