Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Head of Events for the Americas to own the strategic delivery of AWS’s regional events across North, Central, and South America.

You will lead a marketing team, manage a multi-country portfolio, and partner with regional peers to ensure alignment with a global events framework. You will shape programs across languages and regulatory environments, driving ROI, pipeline, and customer impact while reporting to senior leadership in a highly matrixed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
• 5+ years of team management experience.
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience leading across multiple locales.
• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing significant budgets and P&L in the region.
• Experience end-to-end event marketing in the technology industry.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive event marketing initiatives worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic design and delivery of AWS's AMER regional events portfolio, aligning programs with business objectives.
• Deliver the AMER regional events plan in partnership with EMEA and APJ,
• Serve as the global AMER interlock and translate global framework into regional execution.
• Partner with Content, Platforms, GTM, and other teams to align with global messaging.
• Partner with Integrated Demand Center to align strategy with demand generation and pipeline targets.
• Manage regional events portfolio and budget with full P&L responsibility.
• Design and implement measurement frameworks to track ROI and effectiveness.
• Lead and develop a high-performing, mentored team with succession plans.
