Job summary

Theta seeks a senior engineering and data science leader to own the engineering roadmap and lead the data science team. You will direct model scaling, cloud deployments, and AI-assisted workflows, ensuring reliable delivery for client engagements and instrumentation for scalable operations.

As a key member, you will shape technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clients to align data strategies with business goals, while extending the existing R-based production stack with C++

Qualifications

Built and operated production data or ML systems end to end at scale on cloud infrastructure.
Experienced with R-based production stack and C++ integration.
Ability to lead a data science team and engage with clients.
Familiar with AI-assisted workflows and tooling.

Responsibilities

Architect thousands of models execution on cloud and deploy in client environments.
Build reliable data pipelines from raw client files to validated outputs.
Set testing, validation, and deployment standards; review code and designs.
Lead the data science team with hands-on guidance and problem solving.
Explain technical methods to clients and understand their stacks.
