Job summary

WCG is seeking a Sr. Director, AI Engineering to lead the design, deployment, and scaling of enterprise AI across the organization, driving measurable business value while meeting regulatory and quality standards.

You will build and guide globally distributed AI teams, shape strategy for ML, GenAI, and MLOps, collaborate with product, data and IT, and manage vendor relationships within a strong governance framework.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AI/ML, data engineering, or advanced analytics.
• 7+ years leading global AI/engineering teams.
• Experience building and scaling AI and ML platforms in production.
• Experience working in regulated environments (preferred).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Execute and operationalize the enterprise AI strategy with measurable outcomes.
• Drive design, adoption, and growth of AI platforms across domains (ML, GenAI, MLOps, LLMOps).
• Lead prioritization of AI initiatives balancing short-term delivery and platform evolution.
• Partner with executives to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
• Establish and scale architectures for model development, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle.
• Drive infrastructure and pipelines improvements for AI platforms.
• Ensure AI platforms integrate with enterprise data and technology ecosystems.
• Establish Responsible AI frameworks including bias mitigation and explainability.
