Teradata Corporation (SE) is seeking a Senior Director of Agentic Database Engineering to lead the architecture and delivery of its innovative Agentic Database. This pivotal role involves designing a technical framework that integrates an operational database with AI systems, focusing on delivering capabilities that address enterprise needs.

Successful candidates will have deep experience in relational databases, effective team-building skills, and a proven track record in leading engineering projects.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of engineering experience, including 10+ years leading senior engineering teams.
• Track record shipping production database or infrastructure products to enterprise customers.
• Strong command of distributed systems fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture of the Teradata Agentic Database.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing senior engineering organization.
• Partner with Product Management to translate PRD into an engineering roadmap.
