Job summary

Qualifications

• Terminal degree (or equivalent) in the discipline or in a relevant field.
• Leadership and supervisory experience in academics or professional experience in an appropriate discipline.
• Distinguished record of scholarship, teaching, and/or professional expertise.
• Successful career as a faculty member and/or discipline professional, including a reputation for model leadership, excellence in the field, high standards, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development, assessment activities, and policy/procedure implementation.
• Oversee faculty hiring, mentoring, development, and performance evaluations.
• Manage departmental budget and course scheduling; oversee facilities use.
• Recruit students and review graduate applications; track internships and placements.
• Teach courses as determined by employment agreement; maintain an on-site leadership presence.
