NYC Health + Hospitals Bellevue is seeking a Head Nurse in the Neonatal ICU to oversee nursing care development, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff support.

The role requires 2+ years of acute care nursing experience, current NY RN license, and BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Full-time daytime schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing regimens for patients.
• Schedule, assign, guide, and instruct nursing personnel in activities.
• Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate nursing regimens for assigned patients.
• Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes to ensure continuity of care.
• Interpret and report patient responses to appropriate health team members.
• Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan comprehensive patient care.
• Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel.
• Participate in defining, implementing, and maintaining nursing practice standards.
• Maintain professional competence through continuing education and learning experiences.

What You'll Do
