The Head Nurse in the Neonatal ICU will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients in the unit, ensuring high-quality care and support for both patients and nursing staff.

What You'll Do
- Direct the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing regimens for patients.
- Schedule, assign, guide, and instruct nursing personnel in activities.
- Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms.
- Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate nursing regimens for assigned patients.
- Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes to ensure continuity of care.
- Interpret and report patient responses to appropriate health team members.
- Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan comprehensive patient care.
- Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel.
- Participate in defining, implementing, and maintaining nursing practice standards.
- Maintain professional competence through continuing education and learning experiences.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years in acute care nursing preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York
- Licenses & Certifications: BLS certification required
- Licenses & Certifications: ACLS preferred
