Job summary

EVMS Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to coordinate and support outpatient Head and Neck care. You will work with faculty physicians and residents to deliver timely, high-quality care and patient education, while improving care transitions from clinic to outside providers.

The role involves partnership with the Division of Head and Neck Surgery, primarily outpatient with some inpatient activity, and requires coordinating scheduling, referrals, and tumor board

Qualifications

• MSN with NP focus.
• Licensed RN by Virginia Board of Nursing.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• PA license in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outpatient care for Head and Neck diagnoses.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and care plans.
• Coordinate scheduling, referrals and care transitions.
• Assist Head and Neck faculty with in-office procedures.
• Collaborate with clinic nursing staff to triage medical calls.
