The Medical University of South Carolina invites applications for a full-time Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates with advanced fellowship training in head and neck surgical oncology will join the Division of Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery to deliver multidisciplinary care in Charleston.

Candidates may come from Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree with Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residency.
• DDS/DMD with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
• Advanced fellowship training in head and neck surgical oncology.
• Board certification or eligibility in the respective specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide multidisciplinary clinical care for head and neck cancer patients at MUSC and Hollings Cancer Center.
• Perform extirpative and reconstructive head and neck tumor surgeries.
• Collaborate with Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and related departments.
• Educate medical students, residents, and fellows in clinic and operating room.
