Job summary

University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is recruiting a fellowship-trained Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon for multiple ranks (Instructor to Professor). The position emphasizes clinical care, education, and research at Mission Bay, Mount Zion, or Parnassus campuses.

Microvascular reconstruction is preferred but not required. Applicants will participate in resident and fellow education; a California medical license by hire is required.

Qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree required.
• Completed residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
• Completed AHNS accredited fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery.
• Board eligible or board certified in the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
• Must obtain California medical license by time of hire.
• All requirements must be met by the start date.
• Applicants’ materials must list current, eligible, and/or pending qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Educate residents and fellows as part of academic activities.
• Provide clinical care in head and neck oncology with potential microvascular reconstruction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UCSF campuses.
