Job summary

UC Irvine's Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery seeks a Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon for a faculty appointment in the HS Clinical Professor or Clinical X Professor series at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

The successful candidate will be fellowship trained in Head and Neck Oncologic surgery and board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology, with eligibility to apply for a California medical license.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in Head and Neck Oncologic surgery.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology.
• Eligible to apply for a California medical license.
• Training in microvascular surgery and sialendoscopy is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a high-volume head and neck oncologic service.
• Participate in teaching of residents and medical students.
• Engage in university and public service and scholarly activity.
