Job summary

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Mayo Clinic Rochester is seeking an exceptional translational scientist focused on cancers of the head and neck. The ideal candidate will drive discovery to translational science and collaborate across disciplines to improve patient care.

Responsibilities include leading biomarker research, immuno-oncology overlaps, and program development, with opportunities for leadership and an endowed Chair.

Qualifications

• MD and/or PhD or relevant advanced degree.
• Strong record of extramural funding and publications.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring faculty.

Responsibilities

• Translate discoveries to clinical interventions through translational research and trials.
• Mentor junior faculty, promote grant writing and program development.
• Lead expansion of scientific programs in head and neck cancers at Mayo Clinic.
• Assume leadership opportunities and potential endowed Chair.
