Kansas City School District is seeking a 2026/27 Middle School Head Dance Coach (Foreign Language Academy) to lead the school\'s athletic program and develop the dance program in alignment with district standards.

The role requires a four-year degree, coaching coursework completion, and ongoing professional development, with responsibilities ranging from team leadership to fundraising and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess a four-year college degree and be contracted for the school year.
• Knowledge of particular sport (philosophy & coaching).
• Must complete the MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course and Sports First Aid Courses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school\'s athletic program and develop the sport coached.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; ensure proper use and documentation.
• Promote sportsmanship and leadership among players and staff.
• Coordinate with Principal to sustain a strong athletic program and provide professional development.
