As a founding member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), Pitt-Bradford boasts a history of success in men’s basketball, with a dedicated fan base and strong institutional support. We're looking for a coach ready to sustain and elevate our winning culture.

Compensation: $42-$45,000/year - 10 months (Aug 1 - May 31) paid over 12.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Men’s Basketball program, including strategic planning, player development, and competitive performance.
  • Identify, recruit, and retain talented student-athletes who embody the Division III balance of academic and athletic achievement.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team culture, emphasizing leadership, accountability, and sportsmanship.
  • Collaborate with athletic staff and university departments to ensure academic support, compliance, and team success.
  • Uphold and enforce all NCAA, AMCC, and university regulations and standards.

Requirements:

· 3–7 years of successful collegiate coaching experience (preferably NCAA Division III).

· Demonstrated commitment to student-athlete development and academic success.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

· Coaching licenses and certifications preferred.

Job Summary

Oversees all aspects of a sports program. Recruits athletes, mentors athletes, fosters athletic, emotional, and academic group of student athletes. Oversees sports equipment, practice plans and schedules, skill development, designs coaching strategies. Oversees public and media relations. Coordinates team travel and schedule. Adheres to all rules and regulations. Oversees assistant coaching staff.

Essential Functions

Responsible for administering all aspects of the men’s basketball program including coaching, promoting, requisitioning and maintaining equipment, supervising assistants, monitoring academic and disciplinary standing of student-athletes, and fulfilling other such duties as they arise or as assigned.
