Tennessee Wesleyan University is seeking a Head Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Coach. This full-time position involves leading all program aspects, including instruction and recruitment. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and collegiate coaching experience, fostering a positive team culture while managing budgetary responsibilities.
Tennessee Wesleyan University, an NAIA member competing in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, invites application for the position of Head Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Coach. This is a full time, 12-month position within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Head Coach will direct all aspects of the Track and Field/Cross Country program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instruction, supervision, and development of the teams; recruiting and retention of student athletes, scheduling, organizing team travel, monitoring annual budget, fundraising, administrative tasks, and effective communication with team members, faculty, staff, and media. Other duties as assigned by the Vice President and Director of Athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with previous coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level.
