Job summary

Woodloch Resort in Hawley, PA is seeking a full-time Lifeguard Supervisor to guide and train water lifeguard staff across multiple aquatic facilities. You will work closely with the water management team, learn water chemistry, and oversee daily operations for Pines, Springs, and Lakefront facilities.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and willingness to obtain lifeguard certification along with first aid and CPR.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

• Work/guide/train water lifeguard staff while working directly with water management team.
• Learn water chemistry/learn filtration systems for all aquatic facilities
• Learn all aspects of the water operation for Pines facilities, Springs facilities and Lakefront operation
• Be a leader for daily operational staff

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lifeguard & attend water at all facilities as scheduled and needed.
• Train staff with operational responsibilities, at all facilities
• Assist with Starguard in service and training as needed.
• Assist Service tech and Water managers with daily operational demands throughout the year; open /close pools, drive boats, lake front operations
• hiring staff, reprimand staff

REQUIREMENTS

• Need to be willing to be lifeguard certified along with first aid and CPR
• 40 plus hours per week- more expected in season
• Good communication skills, opportunity for growth in department
• Detail oriented, take initiative to motivate themselves and co-workers.

• Leadership skills-willing to develop themselves and others in this specific area.
