Job summary

Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac, MD, seeks a Head Junior Varsity Tennis Coach to help develop players and create a championship-caliber environment both on and off the court. This role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and building character through sport.

The fall season runs Aug 24 to Oct 30 with practices 4:00-5:30 PM and matches 1–2 times per week, starting at 4:15 PM. Compensation is a seasonal stipend of $4,000; candidates should bring high school or collegiate coaching

• Experience coaching/participating in tennis at the high school or collegiate level. Knowledge of applicable league rules.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills.

Job description

Working with the support of the Director of Athletics, the Head Junior Varsity Coach is responsible for assisting in developing all players in the program on and off the court through a championship caliber environment, an open door for competition and development of skills, character, and leadership at all levels.

The fall season starts August 24 and runs until October 30. Practices are held at Cabin John Courts Monday - Friday from 4:00-5:30. Matches occur 1-2 times per week and start at 4:15.
