Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a dedicated JV Head Baseball Coach/Varsity Assistant to support the development and success of the baseball program. Responsibilities include serving as JV Head Coach, planning practices, managing games, supervising student-athletes, and assisting the Varsity Head Coach with daily practices and program operations.

• Teach and reinforce proper baseball fundamentals, techniques, sportsmanship, teamwork and character.
• Help develop athletes for successful transition from the JV to varsity level.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Varsity Head Coach regarding player development, team needs, and program expectations.
• Assist with equipment management, field preparation, transportation, and other program responsibilities as assigned.
• Ensure student-athletes follow all school, district, conference, and IHSAA rules and expectations.
