Shaner Hotels in Columbia, PA is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join the opening Hampton Inn by Hilton team. You will lead housekeeping operations, hire and train staff, schedule shifts, manage budgets, and uphold guest service standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of housekeeping management experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible, on-site schedule including weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of housekeeping management experience in hospitality.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Direct, implement and maintain housekeeping operations to ensure high guest room cleanliness.
• Hire, train and develop staff and ensure training completion.
• Prepare weekly schedules and adjust staffing to meet demand.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of areas.
• Manage department budget and end-of-month reporting.
• Assist staff with duties to ensure guest satisfaction.
