Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a thorough and efficient Head Housekeeper to assist with managing property housekeeping operations. If training and motivating other housekeepers come easy for you, we want to hear from you!

  • Hourly Rate: Dependent on experience, $17.00 - $19.00.

Primary Duties:
  • Train and guide staff; discuss performance issues with the General Manager; lead staff huddles.
  • Perform routine guest room preps and cleanings, meet labor standards, maintain public areas, and inspect rooms daily.
  • Offer hotel amenities and services to guests to enhance their experience and increase revenues.
  • Support team coverage by assisting with shifts, laundry duties, and communicating maintenance needs.
  • Follow emergency procedures to ensure safety and security.
  • Manage inventory of supplies including linens, cleaning products, and room supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in hotel leadership, including housekeeping.
  • Strong team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proactive problem solver.
Physical Requirements:
  • Climbing stairs and ladders as needed.
  • Performing tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting for long periods.
  • Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
