Job Description
Aloha High School Head Track and Field Coach
Aloha High School seeks a person with strong character to help build a successful and positive program.
A Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualities
- High ethical and professional standards
- Treat athletes, staff and opponents with respect and have the ability to foster a positive culture
- The ability to be a positive leader in a Track and Field program, developing and instructing young athletes academically, physically and emotionally.
- Communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders through various methods, including athletes, parents, families/staff and public relations.
- Technical knowledge of Track and Field, staff management, skill development and coaching techniques.
- Experience managing a budget and organizing fundraisers to ensure the program and athletes have the ability to be successful
Additional Coaching Responsibilities
- Formation for teams, organizing practices and clear communication about expectations with players and coaches.
- Tracking academic progress of student athletes.
- Monitoring summer training and off season work-outs
- Continue to improve through professional development.
- Develop and oversee Youth Program
- Hiring and developing assistant coaches
Salary will be determined by experience and the Beaverton School District certified staff contract.
Qualified applicants would have years at the varsity level and be willing to become a member of our community.
All coaches will need to complete the following prior to employment.
- NFHS Certification
- OSAA Coaching Required Courses
- First Aid Card
- Safe Schools - Vector Training
