Job summary

The Spanish Hills Club in Camarillo, California, is seeking a Head Golf Professional to lead all golf operations and drive member experience. This role oversees tournaments, shop merchandising, staff leadership, teaching programs, and financial performance, reporting to club leadership to deliver a premier golf experience.

The position requires PGA GPTP Level 2, 3–5 years’ private club experience, and strong leadership with a focus on service and revenue growth.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Golf Professional in a private club, resort, or comparable facility.
Completion of Level 2 of the PGA Golf Professional Training Program (GPTP).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in tournament operations, merchandising, instructional programs, and golf operations management.
Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversee all daily golf operations.
Plan, coordinate, and execute club tournaments, member events, leagues, and outside outings.
Foster relationships with Members and guests to provide a welcoming golf experience.
Serve as host and tournament director for major golf events and championships.
Establish and manage instructional and player development programs.
Provide golf instruction and coaching as schedule permits.
