Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Athletic Policies approved by the Board of Education.
• Comprehensive knowledge of state and conference regulations.
• Understanding of administrative command structure.
• Knowledge of sport-specific coaching techniques and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of physical examinations, parental consent, and eligibility rules.

Responsibilities

• Implement athletic policies across the staff.
• Enforce school system, state, and conference regulations.
• Attend required meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop sport-specific philosophy, skills, and techniques for players.
• Plan conferences, clinics, and staff meetings to raise program awareness.
• Supervise duties and evaluate staff performance at season end.
• Maintain discipline and improve team morale and cooperation.
• Assist Athletic Director with scheduling, transportation, and event logistics.
• Prepare facilities and ensure proper use of equipment and safety protocols.
• Ensure academic eligibility by monitoring grades and conduct.
• Provide injury prevention and emergency response plans.
