Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School, under the Diocese of Cleveland, seeks a Head [SPORT] Coach to lead our athletic program in Cleveland, OH.

The role reports to the Athletic Director and focuses on implementing a sound coaching philosophy, player development, and program integrity in a Catholic education setting. The ideal candidate has prior high school coaching experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to manage schedules, safety, and compliance within a faith-based school

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Valid Pupil Activity Permit as issued by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Concussion Training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training, Mental Health Training.

Responsabilités

Attend required departmental and league meetings.
Establish coaching philosophy, skills, and techniques for staff.
Assist Athletic Director with scheduling, transportation, and materials for events.
Ensure Final Forms are current and signatures obtained for student-athletes.
Manage equipment issuance, safeguarding, and inventory.
Supervise locker room, weight room, and practice areas for cleanliness and safety.
Oversee fundraising budgets and purchasing procedures.
Coordinate event logistics and compliance for state eligibility requirements.
