Job summary

Amplify Education, Inc. seeks a Head Girls Wrestling Coach for Uintah High School to lead and develop the girls wrestling program.

This role works under the Principal and Athletic Director to promote discipline, skill development, and sportsmanship among participating students. The coach is expected to schedule practices, camps, tournaments, and games, manage equipment and budgets, and ensure compliance with school policies and procedural guidelines.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience with students in a school setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.

• Properly manage and care for equipment and supplies.

• Take care of insurance, physicals and transportation forms.
• Work with appropriate school personnel in making transportation arrangements.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Principal and Athletic Director, the head coach is to help participating students achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma required;
• Successful experience working with secondary students;
• Evidence of coaching experience, training or degree in coaching, experience as a coach or an advisor;
• Preference will be given to candidates with a teaching license.
