Francis Howell School District is seeking a Head Girls Track Coach at Francis Howell High School to provide leadership and direction for the girls track program. You will inspire, motivate, and teach student-athletes track-specific skills while promoting personal development and a positive team culture.

The role requires completion of at least 60 college credit hours prior to coaching; coaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of at least 60 college credit hours prior to coaching.
• Previous coaching or track experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement practice schedules, strategies, and event plans.
• Lead and supervise the girls track program and coaching staff.
• Teach track-specific skills, techniques, and strategies to student-athletes.
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and positive character traits.
• Monitor and support student-athlete development and performance.
• Build supportive relationships with students, staff, families, and the community.
• Ensure the program operates in accordance with District, MSHSAA, and school guidelines.
