Job description

The Head Girls Track and Field Coach is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive track and field program aligned with the mission of Divine Savior Holy Angels and its Athletic Department. The coach will oversee the entire program and coaching staff.

Job Start-End Date:

The spring season officially begins on March 16 and ends on June 6, 2026. There may be meetings and open gyms prior to the official start of the season.

The coach must manage the entire track and field program, teach skills, hire assistants, and connect with players, families, and the DSHA community. A focus on maximizing team talent and elevating the program is essential. Effective communication with the Athletic Director, student-athletes, and parents is critical, along with planning and supporting athletic policies.

Qualifications

The candidate should have several years of coaching experience, preferably at the varsity level. An understanding of education-based athletics, clear communication, and team-building skills are necessary. A commitment to academic achievement, organizational skills, and the ability to work well with students, staff, and faculty are also required.
