Job summary

Lawton Public Schools is seeking a part-time athletic coach to lead varsity programs and support the junior varsity team within the school community.

You will coordinate equipment, conduct inventory, and ensure compliance with applicable rules while preparing reports and supervising athlete health examinations. This temporary role opens one position and offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to student athletics.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma Teaching Certification preferred (not required).
• High School completion.

Responsibilities

• Coach varsity team and coordinate JV program with school, athletes, parents, and community.
• Check equipment in/out, maintain inventory, clean and store equipment.
• Be knowledgeable about sport rules and attend rule meetings.
• Prepare local and state reports including: eligibility reports, transportation requests, official and financial reports, semester and end-of-year reports.
• Complete requisitions for supplies and services.
• Supervise the athletic physical examinations for each athlete.
• Other duties as assigned.
