Job description

Black Rock FC Residential Academy | High Mowing School is seeking a dynamic, driven, and inspirational Head Girls Soccer Coach to lead our 10 month residential soccer program. This is a full-time residential position that combines high-level soccer coaching with meaningful student mentorship and community building.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead our girls soccer program with energy, vision, and commitment — from small-group training to full-team practices.
  • Mentor and inspire student-athletes socially, academically, athletically, and personally.
  • Guide student-athletes through the college recruitment process, with a focus on finding their best fit academically and athletically.
  • Create a vibrant, supportive residential life experience by living and working alongside students — shaping their high school journey beyond the pitch.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff, program leadership, residential life teams, and academic faculty to ensure a holistic, student-centered experience.
  • Engage with students outside of athletics - in study halls, community programming, and dorm life, to help them thrive.
  • In collaboration with the director of the program, coordinate games, tournaments, showcases, and all necessary travel arrangements.

You’ll Thrive Here If You:

  • Love working closely with teenage athletes, helping them grow into confident, capable young adults.
  • Bring experience in competitive soccer coaching (college or club experience preferred).
  • Have firsthand collegiate playing experience and understand the demands of balancing sports, academics, and personal development.
  • Are ready to be a role model - leading with empathy, professionalism, and high standards.
  • Enjoy the energy, and unpredictability, of boarding school residential life.
  • Believe in teamwork - you’re collaborative, communicative, and committed to the mission.

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous coaching experience at the college or 4+ years with elite club
  • Residential life or boarding school experience
  • Knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules and processes
