Job summary

North Polk High School, located in Alleman, is seeking to hire a Head eSports coach/sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of new ideas and techniques in the field assigned
• Be knowledgeable of rules and regulations as well as changes that occur
• Inventory, selection, care and maintenance of equipment
• Coach individual participants in the skill areas necessary for excellent achievement in the activity involved, as assigned
• Carry out duties as assigned in the activity involved such as clerical work, strategy meetings, equipment issue and return, facility preparations and supervision
• Support the program by abiding by policies and rules which are set forth to help maintain growth of the total activities program at all levels

The North Polk Community School District is a progressive educational community located in the Des Moines metro area just north of Ankeny‑serving the communities of Alleman, Elkhart, Polk City, and Sheldahl. The District proudly serves over 2,200 learners from preschool through 12th grade in five buildings (West Elementary, PK‑2nd; Big Creek Elementary, 3‑5th; Central Elementary, PK‑5th; Middle School, 6th‑8th; and High School, 9th‑12th).
