Job summary

St. Philip Neri – Blessed Sacrament Parish in Omaha is seeking a Head Custodian & Maintenance Supervisor. The full-time position offers benefits; hours are M-F, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., with occasional after-hours for emergencies and parish events.

Responsibilities include supervising custodial staff, coordinating maintenance projects, and ensuring facilities are safe and well maintained. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to pass Safe Environment Training, and possess basic handyman skills along

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to pass Safe Environment Training.
• Experience in maintenance or custodial work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial staff and coordinate maintenance projects.
• Ensure parish facilities are clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours service as needed.

Description

St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament Parish & School seek a Head Custodian & Maintenance Supervisor. The position is full-time and comes with benefits. Hours are M-F, 7 a.m.-4 p.m., with some additional hours for emergencies and Parish Fall Festival. Candidates should be self-motivated, open to learning, cooperative with others, dependable, and have already or be capable of passing Safe Environment Training Certification.

• Ability to work independently.
• General understanding of basic handyman tasks.
• Flexibility to respond to after hours emergencies.
• Familiarity with technology; computers and various systems.
• Maintain a current driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Education and Experience
