Under the direction of the corps officer, the maintenance supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment of the Bushwick Corps. The maintenance supervisor is also responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems within the Bushwick Corps property and building.

1. Supervises and assigns the work of maintenance employees and volunteers.
2. Performs general maintenance of all Salvation Army property, including parking lot areas and building upkeep.
3. Receives all deliveries, ensuring they are securely packed and stored properly.
4. Performs various clean-up and maintenance tasks.
5. Performs minor repairs such as ceiling and tile repairs, leak stopping, etc.
6. Maintains the cleanliness of the building front area.
7. Updates inventories and supplies as needed, as approved by the corps.
8. Coordinates or performs repairs and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and related systems within all department locations, as approved by the corps.
9. Performs general repairs such as painting, patching walls, installing security hardware, hanging shelves, and landscaping.
10. Coordinates renovations of existing facilities and construction of new ones.
11. Qualifications include a High School Diploma, two or more years of maintenance experience, and training beyond high school level in maintenance and repair.
12. Must have a valid driver's license.
