Job summary

The Oconee County School District is seeking a Maintenance Worker to uphold the upkeep of school buildings and grounds and to perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), the ability to supervise, hands-on cleaning experience, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lift 25 lbs. Work hours are 8 per day for 240 days per year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have ability to supervise.
• Must have technical or hands-on experience in all phases of school or industrial cleaning.
• Must be able to lift/carry items in excess of 25 lbs.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have ability to work with minimum supervision.
