Job summary

Bowling Green City Schools is seeking a Head Custodian at Crim Elementary in Bowling Green, OH. The role coordinates custodial and maintenance tasks, safeguarding the building, grounds, and equipment, while communicating with the Buildings & Grounds director on issues and emerging needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. Post-secondary training in a trade is desirable.
• Documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
• Custodial and/or building maintenance experience.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply blueprint and schematic diagram information.
• Knowledgeable about building codes, accessibility guidelines, safety regulations, and environmental laws.
• Knowledge of microelectronics and other HVAC control systems.
• Holds or is qualified to obtain a low-pressure operators license. Proficient in boiler operations and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Available to respond to building and/or service emergencies.
