Job Description

Qualifications/Experience: At least four years experience in School Food Service or other equivalent Food Service experience. Must obtain a Minnesota Department of Health Food Manager Certificate within 3 months of hire. Must obtain a Level IV Certificate with the School Nutrition Association within 1 year of hire. Culinary degree or other technical or college course work related to Food Service. Successful background check required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Knowledge of food service production, inventory management, employee supervision, positive interpersonal communication and relationship building skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and create and promote a warm, welcoming, positive team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google applications, and basic math skills. Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.

Hours Per Day: 7.5 hours per day
