Job summary

Kimberton Waldorf School in Phoenixville, PA seeks a Head Coach for the women’s varsity volleyball team. The season is 2026; the roster is returning.

The coach will develop student-athlete growth on and off the court and lead practices, game preparation, and program culture. Responsibilities include running practices, managing lineups, coordinating with the Athletic Director, ensuring safety, and fostering academic eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school or club level coaching experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Clearances/background check as PA/state requirements.
• Ability to commit to pre-season, regular season, and postseason schedules.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

About Us

Kimberton Waldorf School seeks a Head Coach for our women’s varsity volleyball team. Our entire roster is returning and we reached the championship game last season. We want a coach who will build on that success and support student-athlete development on and off the court.

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Clearances/background check per PA/state requirements.

PreferredExperience

• Experience coaching teams to postseason play.
• Familiarity with Waldorf education or independent school environments.
• Coaching certifications (e.g., USA Volleyball, NFHS) or collegiate playing experience.

Schedule & Compensation

• Practices weekday afternoons/evenings; games on weekdays and some weekends.
• Seasonal stipend, commensurate with experience.
• Opportunities for additional clinics or youth program work.
