Women’s Golf Head Coach

The Xavier University Athletics Department is seeking a Head Women’s Golf Coach. The Women’s Golf Coach is responsible for all aspects of the Women’s Golf program.

Position Responsibilities:

·Coordination of all aspects of daily practices and coaching of all tournaments

·Creation and maintenance of a positive team culture

·Comply with all NCAA, Big East and Xavier rules and regulations

·Recruitment of prospective student-athletes including evaluation and pursuit

·Oversight of women’s golf program administrative operations including scheduling and team travel, equipment and apparel ordering, and budget planning and management

·Building and maintaining effective relationships with the Men’s Golf Head Coach and the Maketewah Country Club staff and members

·Building and maintaining effective relationships with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community to generate interest and support for the program

Required Qualifications and Experience:

·Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred

·Three to five years of collegiate golf coaching experience

·Must possess a philosophy of coaching and education that supports the mission of Xavier University and its Athletic Department

·Possess a valid driver’s license and meet insurability requirements under Xavier University’s policy

·Possess current First Aid, AED and CPR certification
