Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 64 college semester hours.
• At least one year coaching in a school athletic program.
• CPR/AED and other trainings per board policy.

Responsibilities

• Promote sports in the schools and community.
• Plan the assigned athletic program.
• Organize and supervise practices.
• Teach fundamentals, team play, strategy and rules.
• Model sportsmanship and self-control.
• Check participant eligibility and insurance.
• Provide guidance and support to student athletes.
• Conduct learning experiences with small groups.
• Recommend equipment, supplies and uniforms.

Education
