Job summary

Texas Southmost College seeks a Head Coach to lead the intercollegiate sports program. You will recruit student-athletes, develop program philosophy, and ensure academic progress, compliance, and competitive performance.

Under the Director of Recreation Center and Athletics Operations, you will plan schedules, coordinate travel, manage facilities, and collaborate with other departments to support scholarships, health, safety, and success of student-athletes.

Qualifications

• Significant coaching experience in intercollegiate athletics.
• Proven ability to recruit and retain student-athletes.
• Demonstrated leadership and program development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and supervision for all aspects of the intercollegiate sport program.
• Plan schedules, manage travel, and oversee team operations and compliance.
• Coordinate with admissions, financial aid, and athletic departments for student-athletes.
• Lead strength and conditioning, game strategy, and community outreach.
