Job summary

Ohio Valley Community Christian College is seeking a motivated Men's Lacrosse Head Coach to lead and grow our junior college lacrosse program. You will build a competitive roster and develop student-athletes for success on and off the field.

The ideal candidate will recruit, oversee practices, and implement offensive/defensive systems while maintaining academic engagement and roster stability. This seasonal role requires strong leadership, communication, and availability evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior lacrosse coaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of player development and game strategy.
• Ability to lead and mentor student-athletes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a competitive men's lacrosse roster.
• Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes.
• Conduct outreach to high school programs and prospective players.
• Plan and oversee practices, conditioning, and game preparation.

Position OverviewOhio Valley Community Christian College (OVCCC) is seeking a motivated, disciplined, and student-focused Men's Lacrosse Head Coach to lead and grow our junior college lacrosse program.The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a competitive roster, developing student-athletes, and ensuring player retention throughout the academic year.
